Julia Arnott-Neenee

A tech trailblazer with a mission to achieve digital equity for Māori and Pacific people

Julia is a Global Strategist and Insights specialist passionate about technology, human behaviour and social impact. Julia is dedicated to looking at how technology can impact the most amount of people for the better, advocating progress that reaches the whole of society.

On returning home from California in 2020, she co-founded a youth-led Pacific social enterprise, PeopleforPeople as part of her mission to digitally empower Māori and Pasifika communities, in order to bridge the digital divide, achieve digital equity, and increase representation of Māori and Pacific in the tech industry.

Julia also works at The Spinoff as Director of Strategy and Insights, as a Tech Start-Ups Advisor, a Trustee of Hi-Tech Trust, Board Member at Middlemore Foundation, a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, NEXT Foundation Fellow, and is a current participant of Leadership New Zealand's Mana Moana programme.
