Nicki leads a team committed to mobilising New Zealand to be world leaders in clean and clever energy use. EECA is igniting change with some of New Zealand’s biggest energy users through investment, programme management and technical advice. They’re bringing everyone on the journey through the Gen Less platform, bringing individuals, communities, businesses and government together to get more out of life using less harmful energy.

Previously Nicki was the Director, Regional Development (North), for the Provincial Development Fund, delivering innovative investment programs to help Aotearoa's regions prosper and thrive. Prior to joining the PDU Nicki led Transpower’s new consumer engagement programme, setting up the mechanisms to integrate consumer input into its business.

Nicki has spent more than 20 years working in the energy sector as a commercial and environmental lawyer and in executive roles.
